| All you need is four quarters and two dimes, 60 cents per speaker. |
| |
| Place a quarter on each of the front corners of your speakers, and a dime at the middle of the front edge of the speakers. |

|
| |
| Not easy to scientifically justify, but this tweak works! To my ears the sound is more open with greater airiness around performers. There is noticeable gain in resolution, smoothens and imaging. Go figure? |
| |
| This tweak is dead simple to try out and experiment with. Many readers of Stereophile have, which generated quite a polarization of opinion. |

I
have used this tweak on my Bose 301's. A quarter on each
front corner and the dime over the rear outside corner
(rear facing tweeter). I find you can tune the sound by
changing from quarters in front to quarters in back
corners depending on the sound you desire. Don't know
why but definite improvement in sound! |
