| Determine the grid resistor (100 to 470k) located between the minus-side of the last coupling cap and GND. Replace it with one of half it's value or parallel it with one of the same value. About the same applies to the caps: Fit some with twice (or more) the original value or parallel them with some of the same value. |

| Open your amp, do the tweak, close it and listen. |

| For reasons of cost, most commercial amps have large grid resistors for their power tubes, in order to be able to use small, cheap coupling caps. This high impedance deteriorates proper working of power tube AND coupling cap. |
